Does anyone know where I can get directions for making large flower petals out of tulle?

Want to make an infant car seat look like a large flower with the baby being the center of the flower. It is for a 4th of July baby parade, but we don't want to do red white and blue. Looking for a theme. Thanks for any ideas.
