What colours should we have for our wedding?!?!?

Our reception place has black chairs and white tables. We were going to have baby blue bridesmaid dresses with pink flowers. I was thinking black white and just one colour... is 4 colours too much?

No, 4 colors is not too much. You could do alternating pink and blue napkins, pink flowers (lilies would be nice) with smaller blue ones (blue tinted babies breath maybe) in a crystal vase for centerpieces, with pink and blue (or just white) wrapped mints for favors(can be bought at party supply stores), maybe even pink and blue alternating silk sashes tied on the back of the chairs...

Reply:The chairs and tables dont mean much. I had the same thing at my wedding but I had baby blue and silver for my wedding and it was gorgeous. Pick as many colors as you want it will be your wedding and I am sure it will be beautiful.

Reply:I'd stick with the 3 main colours (black, white and baby blue) and then have white flowers and a tiny hint of pink, maybe on a ribbon on the bouquet, keep it simple for yourself!

Reply:Dont worry about the color of the tables and chairs. Use the blue and pink and incorporate it in with the decorations and party favors.
Reply:I think that just black, white, and blue would be more elegant. You can use four colors if you want to and it will work, but I just don't think it would be quite so stunning. Consider using white flowers or go with a monochromatic theme of blue in your bouquets and decorations.
Reply:Simple colour tones look the classiest... ditch the pink flowers and go for white.... even if you want colours in your own bouquet still... just keep the rest of the flower colours in white...



But even so the baby blue will go well with the Black %26amp; White even with pink flowers... (is it a pale pink? if it is bright then yeah it might clash...)
Reply:Ultimately, your the bride so you call the shots. I think you shouldn't be so concerned with what others think coz, it's after all your big day. So, i think u should opt for ur favourite colours and to hell with what people think or say. I am personally fond of maroon and burgundy, i think the contrast goes well with the pastels. But once again, u call the shots. Congrats and besty of luck btw
