Anybody have suggestions for redoing my room?

I want a new theme for my room. Right now, it's island flowers, and it looks very childish. I'm thinking about French (maybe something pink), nautical (nothing actually nautical, I just really like navy blue), something with my favorite colors, green and blue... Got any more ideas for me? I mainly am looking for comforters, and the rest of the room would revolve around what comforter I chose.



I'd also like any tips that could make my room look nicer, even if it's not any suggestions for redoing my room.



I don't want anything particularly expensive, either. Just show me what you've got!

you could turn your island flowers into a cool Hawaiian theme. Bamboo carpet on the floor and turn an old surf board into a bookshelf. Saw that on extreme home makeover and it look awesome!
Reply:You know,just paint your room colors that reflect who you are and ones that you like.If you have extra spending money after that,you could also get some bins to organize your things and make the room more organized if you wanted.I don't know,just a thought.
Reply:navy, aqua and green are a nice combo. As you say, choose your fabric first and use those colors to complete the scheme.
