Could you help me identify this weed?

It has leaves a bit like carrot tops, grows in clumps, and I seem to remember it having blue flowers last year. As soon as I see the name I'll remember it!! Any ideas?

Could you help me identify this weed?
Weeds are only classed as weeds when it is unwanted vegetation, weeds are actually wild flowers. It is going to be very hard to answer your question accurately with the information you have given, as your "weed" could be one of many plants. The best advice i would give is for you to visit

www.wildflowers.co.uk I'm quite sure you will find it there.

The only weed I could find with the carrot-like leaves was this Poison hemlock - Foto showed flowers are whitish. Could this be it after all?

Poison hemlock

(Conium maculatum): Carrot family; biennial. Leaves are divided 2 to 3 times into deep lobes or toothed segments; lower leaves have short stalks, flattened at the base that partially envelop stems; stems have purple markings upper leaves have short stalks or are stalkless; white sepaless flowers are borne on umbrella shaped clusters.

Reply:I think it sounds like cow parsley. It will be starting to come up in hedgerows now, but the flowers are creamy white, not blue so perhaps it is something else. Have a look at these photos http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en%26amp;...
Reply:Could be speedwell.
Reply:blue cornflower?
Reply:speedwell ...sand thistle.?
Reply:Maybe Queen Anne's Lace? But that's another plant with a white flower.
