I need help ladies and men with color coordination.?

I live in an apartment with all the walls painted white. I have an ivory couch with slate blue flowers on it and oak furniture. During cold weather I use garnet chenille slipcovers. Currently, my windows have white miniblinds provided by the landlords. What kind of window treatments would look coordinated with the couches the way they are and when I put the slipcovers on them???

Leave the blinds the way they are and hang curtain rods over them. Then get some sheer kind of curtains with accents in the color of the blue or garnet. Then change them out when you change the slip covers. You can also use the sheer curtains with a solid color full curtain in front. The solid color would match the blue and garnet, and you would change them out when changing the slipcovers.

I think curtains over blinds is a good look. I like the fact that the blinds block out the light. And, you could kind of swag the curtains out of the way (using ties a couple of feet below the top of the curtain) for that classic window curtain look. The curtains are then just an accent.
Reply:I would pick the ivory color because if the room is small light colors make the room alot better and bigger and in the winter time use the slate color because light on light(snow) doesn't look good but all I can tell you is that good luck on it :)
Reply:dark blue lined velvet to the floor
