An A-Line skirt is pretty simple. I'm guessing you have not done much sewing, so something with an elastic waistband is probably easiest. Simply cut the desired angle from waist out to hemline, join at the sides, hem bottom. Turn over enough to run elastic through at the top. Pretty basic.

you could make about 3 cute little girls aprons and give them as christmas gifts to friends with little girls or nieces or if you have a girl of your own - add a tiny tea set - or tiny baking set (tray and cookie cutter and roller pin) - how cute!
Otherwise - you could make a pretty little table cloth - just hem the edges and set the table with a creamy / beige vase with blue and white flowers and white dinnerware.
Clothing for yourself - your could make a pretty little handkerchief style summer top and head band to match (kind of like hippie style.
Reply:Well the most obvious is a shawl or a scarf, which essentially involves cutting to size plus hem and then hemming it. Depending on the pattern you might cut it to a shape and hem it and then pin the shape to an existing curtain as a room feature or tack it to the wall like a painting.
I have pieces of brightly colored fabric draped over the cafe curtains (half height) that we have on all windows, and I change them periodically. I didn't even hem them.
With that amount of fabric, about all else you can make is some kind bag - hand bag, book bag, shoulder bag.
