Has anyone ever had flowers dyed to meet color requirements?

i know that if u put white flowers that are about to bloom in a vase with blue food coloring then the next morning the flowers will be bright blue but if i wanted neon pink flowers would i be able to get them a bright vibrant shade by using hot pink food coloring (i think they actually make it for neon pink frosting) if not can the florist do it for me? has anyone ever had their flowers dyed a non traditional shade? i dont want the boring typical pink flowers i want a neon hot pink that no one would expect. any ideas? thanks



p.s im not going to spray paint the flowers or get fake flowers so thats not an option :)

I doubt if you could get the neon glow in the dark by using coloring, but you could certainly get a hot pink with food coloring.
Reply:The florist can dye flowers in the way you described. They also have a spray dye which gives an airbrushed look to the flowers which is really pretty and very natural looking (if you overlook the fact that the flowers don't come in those colors naturally). Talk to a florist, they'll give you great ideas and it doesn't cost anything to look.
Reply:ganians does it and they look amazing! i have seen some of the coolest colors...just go in and ask...i wish i had an example! but yes someone can do it for you!
Reply:I'd be afraid of the color running and ruining my dress. Many flowers already come in hot pink so you may want to consider those.
