What colors do you think my wedding should be?

My parents are helping me and my fiance out with our wedding and the planning and stuff.

I got my dress and everything.

But i dont have colors i want for my wedding.



I have a white dress, and he needs a black tux.



But i want a variety of beautiful colorful flowers (daisies, roses...all kinds of flowers!) .



He loves the color Blue

And i love pink, purple, blue, yellow, white, red, green...



what do you think?

What colors do you think my wedding should be?
It's common for people to pick a color scheme that fits the season they get married in. My wedding is in October and my colors are browna nd champagne. So here are some suggestions:

For Summer = Brighter and bolder colors. If you like roses, and daisies, try having yellow be your color. Yellow is a great color to mix with Grass Green. It just makes you think of flowers. Other good combos for summer are: (1) Red (rose red) and Pale Pink. (2) Teal and Champagne (3) Dark Purple and Silver (4) Magenta and Black

For Spring = Pastel Colors are fabulous. Try: (1) Pale Blue and Misty Grey (2) Peach and Pale Green (3) Pale Yellow and A Pale Brown (4) Soft Red and Cream

For Autumn = Earthy Colors Try: (1) Autmn Gold and Tiger Lily Orange (2) (my fav) Chocolate Brown and Champagne (3) Dark Green and Gold (4) Dark Blue and White

For Winter = Colder Colors... Christmas Colors For example: (1) Light Blue and White (2) Dark Red and Dark Green (3) Dark Green and Light Green (4) Bright Red and Silver

Reply:Well, some of the IN colors this year are clover green with orange, pink and yellow. Consider what time of year you are getting married also. If you are planning summer wedding, lime green with hot pink and orange are IN this summer. A lot of brides are picking colors that are popular as apposed to picking their favorites. Just some ideas-but I say go with what you want..
Reply:My fiance' and I are having a late summer garden wedding with the colors of green, PALE pink, white, and silver. Our wedding flower is gerbera daisy, and we're having them in pale pink and white. I recently saw a wedding with all of those colors and a touch of bluish-purple, so perhaps you can incorporate some or all of those colors in your wedding.
Reply:probably let him go with a blue for his half of the party's tux's and you decide something that would compliment the blue for your half of the party.



Variety is fine in the floral bouquets, the only rule to them is that you have to like them. It is your day after all. Good luck and best wishes for your wedding.
Reply:baby blue dress for the moh and mint green for the brides maids and for the guys black tuxes with blue tie for the bm and green for the grooms men. This girl i know had her and her hubby wearing white and the girls and guys wearing black. and the girls had colored ribbons around their waists. like, one could wear blue, pink,. purple, etc. depending on how many you have. and the guys, their ties could match the color of the girls ribbon they are walking with. congrats on the wedding
Reply:i would do the white and then go with wildflowers.....a cluster of all different kinds of colors...i saw this at a wedding once and it was stunning!! Congrats and remember......this is only the beginning....there will be more important things to come....but it is your day, so just go with what you like......just dont turn into a BRIDEZILLA.:-) have fun!
Reply:I think you should give him blue but do a light blue and yellow that goes well together and maybe a little green for your flowers there are some really good ideas on some bridal pages i looked at when i got married ill add some later ill have to look them up again

You should experiement by putting different colors together and picking th eones you like.

Reply:I would do some leg work. The computer has many avenues to help get you started. But it's best to go out to different flower shops, fabric stores, bridal shops to see what you like. Are any of the colors you like--- your favorite? Narrow it down...process and eliminate.
Reply:if you want a variety of flowers i would sugest talking to a florist first to see what flowers you want and what colors you can get them in at the time you are getting married. this might help narrow your colors down.
Reply:Variety is what makes a wedding unforgetable for the rest of your life. You should use colors like a pastel light blue with white and a soft not too dark gold. I bet both of you will like the color scheme.
Reply:Purple and blue flowers go together nicely. You could have your maids in different shades of purple or blue and that would look nice too.

Also try to avoid a huge variety of flowers in the bouquets, I say pick three types at most especially if your talking daisys as they are bulky
