How should i paint my room ?

im a girl. my room has cheetah bedding and cheetah border. i was thinking hot pink. well. i could take off the border and i have 2 sets of beddings i switch every week. .1 is cheetah as i said. 2. is white and has like a greenish blue and lime green and purple flowers. the pillow case is light blue w. 1 big flower of those colors . i need help quickk

you should play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think a hot pink would look fab! Check out a color called "gala pink" (# 6579).
Reply:you should pain your room a light grey with a bright blue accent wall... it would only really work with the green bedding though.

Reply:Hot pink is really cool but it is a very bright color for a bedroom. It might not be very relaxing. How about bringing in one of the more neutral colors from your cheetah sheets like a creamy yellow or light beige. Then you could put hot pink pillows/accents around the room. I bet it would look super nice! You could also get an inexpensive bamboo plant (water like once/month) in there to add to the exotic feel.
Reply:Go for a darker color. It will make it look rich. Navy Blue, Dark Teal/ Turqoise, Burgundy. Royal Purple. These colors will make the cheetah bedding look fabulous wit the dark rich colors and the flower bedding will look playful with the dark colors. The Dark Teal and Royal Purple would look awesome.

Reply:on two of your walls do big lime green and blue stripes going up and down. then paint one of the other walls lime green and paint the other one blue. then on the all blue wall paint different shaped lime green polka dots and do the same to the lime green wall but with blue polka dots.



its looks really cool and its not as hard as it sounds. i helped my girlfriend do this to her room with pink and green and just the two of us got it done fairly quickly with very little experience in painting.
Reply:helo! i dont think you need to take off the cheetah border, this actually can give a balance to your bedding, it would be funny if you take off the cheetah border and all of a sudden you the the cheetah bedding, it will look odd... so i think you have to save that cheetah border, and you can actually put a trim line of hot pink on the tip of the border, and for the walls, i wont suggest for hot pink, your room wont be relaxing, try toning down the pink to a lighter color, and you can try having curtains that have a design of d colors with your other bedding, the green, purple flowers and of course with pink also, it could also be purple color with accent of hot pink, if you worried that there's nothing green color other than the beddings well dont worry, you can try to buy indoor plant or cactus, or you can have a lampshade with this greenish blue or green blue to go with it. although its just a very small thing in your room, but it will actually stand out when you see the whole perspective. good luck!
Reply:I would say a light neural purple if you like purple. What ever the color try to pick a neutral color so that if you ever want to change the whole look of your room you can just change the bedding and draps. Best wishes.
Reply:I like your idea of the hot pink ,you can then add some tropical plants and a vase with orchids (fabric) they are easier to keep a few white picture frames a nice pillow with a floral print . And you are set!
