Hydrangia flowers stay light green...why?
In their true state they are jealous of the other flowers that are many different colors.
Reply:You can purchase alkali or acid to add to the soil. You will need to check your soil first. I just leave mine green and use them in dried flower arrangements.
Reply:Green is considered the ultimate color for Hydrangia, consider yourself fortunate.
Reply:There is a problem with your soil. You need to put an additive into the soil so they're not green anymore.
Reply:That I understand about this plant, it is the pH of the soil that turns them red or blue.

If it is acidic soil they will be pink. If it is alkaline soil, they will be blue.

Hope this helps.
