I would like to paint my rec room. Which colour would look nice with a light gray firepace?

I also have a green ratan sofa with light blue, white and dusty rose flowers on it so I need a colour to blend everything together. Any suggestions?

Reply:Any color except a neutral. ////blues, greens, reds, darker greys would work it all depends on what you yourself likes
Reply:Most of the gray brick has a green tint to it, so it is easy to clash with it. One color that went well with ours is sage green. Dark brick red is a great color, too. Remember if you go with a red shade that using a dark base is a requirement if you don't want to make 5 layers. It will still take at least three layers for a red shade even with a base.
Reply:Burgundy, white, different shade of gray, etc. - or why not even change the colour of your fireplace?
Reply:With all the colors you already have in this room I would stick with white with light gray trim and kick boards, it will allow all the other colors to fit in also it will make the room look bigger.
Reply:A gray/blue color. Maybe stripe your room to add a bold color.

Pick the one you like second for drapes, and a rug.

Use all three for accessories - pillows, lamps, flowerpots, ornaments, vases, candles and holders.
