Sky blue and silver wedding?
Sky blue and silver sounds really elegant. Use flowers that are elegant - since I don't know where you live, I'm not sure what will be available to you in May, but when you look for flowers, try to take a bridesmaid's dress along to see if the style and color looks right to you.
One idea for the tables would be a chocolate with a picture of the Bridal couple on it for each place setting. These are edible, and very elegant. Another thing that is nice is a big heart shape made of silver and sky blue balloons. You and the Bridal party could take pictures inside it.
Congratulations!
Reply:those two colors sound so pretty together!

(something like this would be really pretty with your colors in it)

(that would also be very pretty with your colors (maybe alternate between white candle/blue flower and blue candle/white flower?))

(the little blue lights on the tables look really pretty there)

(not a big fan of this centerpiece, but it has your colors in it)

(the bows (i think) are a cute idea, they may not be for everyone, and you shouldn't overdo it like in the picture)

(in your colors and it looks really pretty, if you didnt want to do the bows, the balloons are another great option on the backs of some chairs)

your best bet for flowers would be to see a florist. white roses would be really pretty (not sure on your budget), but i'm not sure about blue flowers.
Reply:I don't know of any flowers that are naturally these colors, and dyed flowers can sometimes look really tacky. I would stick with white tulips or roses, and use the ribbons to tie in the colors. Once in awhile I see white roses dipped in a blue dye at the top and it looks okay. You see this sometimes at foral street vendors. But I would do this only very sparingly.
Have a candy table. Buy sky blue gift boxes for each guest to fill with candy as their party favor. The candy can be in clear vases. You can have mini white chocolate pretzels, white life savers, hershey's kisses, and any kind of sky blue hard candies you can find.
For place settings, you can put a little round bird's nest on each plate, with Jordan almonds as "eggs" and a little name tag for each guest. I saw this on Martha Stewart. http://www.marthastewart.com/article/bab...
I absolutely love these silver Jordan almonds, and you can also find sky blue ones on this site: http://www.candywarehouse.com/silveralmo...
Reply:Check out your local party store, they will have a lot of stuff and also check out Target and Walmart.
As for flowers, go to your local florist and see if you can get some blue tulips and some (fake, but look real) silver flowers.
Good luck!
Reply:probably white and light blue flowers (orchid, hibiscus, periwinkle, forget-me-not, other flowers that can come in many colors) with white or silver ribbons in them and bases (pots) wrapped in silver foil.
