Vitual Villagers: The Lost Children - How do I get the gong piece in the pond?

Does any one know that recipe to get the piece of gong in the pond?

It is NOT the red herb by the sewing hut twice and the blue herb by the sacred area for the dead.

The herb by the sewing hut/hospital looks orange to me but I tried it anyway and it didn't work.. Then I tried the red berries by the mosaic floor and it still didn't work.

The flower by the graves looks purple... but I tried it anyway.. nothing. Then I tried the bluer - rose looking flower by the rocks and vines, still nothing. I've tried SO many combinations.

I got a lot of jumpy, discusted, tired villagers with clear noses and throats but no ability to breathe under water. Help!?

It's 1 Black and 2 Orange. Have someone eat the stew and then take them over to the pond they will then dive in and get it.
