What do you think of sky blue, silver and soft pink for a wedding in Febuary 2008?

My daughter's flower girl dress is white and a soft pink. I also want some shade of blue and silver with it. I thought of Robins egg blue and silver and pink.

What do you think of sky blue, silver and soft pink for a wedding in Febuary 2008?
Sounds sort of baby shower to me.

However if you did all the bridesmaids in a robin egg blue with a pink sash then just the flowergirt in the white with a pink sash or flower or something it could go well together.

Choose one as your main colour and have the other as a highlight, don;t give both colours the same importance.
Reply:Skip the silver. You can always tie the blue and pink together with creams, and having flowers with all the colors together.
Reply:Robins Egg is a bit too teal. Stick with a Sky Blue. (Actually, Sky blue and silver are my colors for my wedding this summer! I'm going with a medium pink, though-it'll be more bold for summertime).

The great thing about flowergirls is that no matter what they wear, they look adorable. So, that should still be fine. maybe have her flowers pull together the blue (wear a hydrangea wreath in her hair, or carry a small posy of hyacinths and sweet pea, etc.).

Congrats!!
Reply:You can't combine this colors without making it look like a baby shower outfit! I would stick to the pink and white for the dresses.....however you could add some blue to you floral arrangements thus giving it a hue of blue! Different shades of pink and perhaps a bit of darker pinks, ivory/white, and some hints of blue flowers would be the best way to incorporate the blue. If you use too much blue with the pink it will look like one big BABY shower! So color coordinate a bit better and use pink as you base color and use the blue only in your florals! Good Luck!
Reply:Honestly,

these colors remind me of a baby shower rather than a wedding..

I second the other user who recommended pink and white.. its so feminine!
Reply:i would just keep the pink and white combo instead of adding the blue and silver. you don't want to over do it. Plus you don't wanna go for the robin egg look since march or april is more of the month for that. Try a nice off pink-burgundy to tie into the dress or gold. hope this helps. Congrats!
Reply:all together????!!!! too much!!!
Reply:I understand you want to use all the colors but you really have to be careful. I would advise against it. All colors have diff hues and a certain blue might not look great with another pink. I don't generally use pink and blue together and don't advise to unless I had the exact swatches in front of me. It is soo close, but is there any way her dress can be exchanged for another? Then you can use the blue and silver. Or if she is the ONLY pink because well she is your daughter why not make her special and have the only pink be in her dress. The color green is a color I reccomend alot to tie in a masuline feel. If you are going with pink. But it's hard to say for sure without looking at the colors...good luck and enjoy your day!
