What kind of flower is this?
It is Nigella damascena, commonly called "love-in-a-mist." It comes in white and rose-colored versions, as well as the blue one shown in your photo. It is an annual, and you can find it in many seed catalogs. Thompson %26amp; Morgan has a nice on-line catalog with photos and information if you are interested.
