What to wear as a performer at a wedding?

I'm playing the cello at a wedding in June. It's solo cello, so I don't have to fit in dress-wise with anybody else, but I'm not quite sure what to wear. Normally I'd wear full eveing dress or all black for concerts, but that's obviously not appropriate for an afternoon wedding. Shoudl I wear a coloured top and long black skirt? Or, I was thinking of wearing a black skirt that comes below the knee chinese flowers in different colours all over it witha black top and yellow shoes. Or a black mid-length wrap dress with yellow shoes. Final option: a quite flamboyant blue dress with flowers I got from Italy. Very summery, but quite over the top. I'm on a very low budget, so can't really afford anything new. Any ideas?

It would be nice to wear something elegant. maybe a cocktail dress or something. Try to be causal , but don't wear a blue jean skirt. Your the performer you don't have to be all dressed up like a fancy gown if your the performer. Try a nice skirt paired with heels and a great top that is sexy , but not to showey look nice and have fun!!!

other rules at a wedding is dont wear white(well unless the bride wears red, then dont wear red, basically dont take the attention from the bride to you by your dress)





I would say youshould open your closet one more time and find yourself something flowery, which is either pink, or yellow, if neither is there, then you should go with something thats pale, not too eye catching. thats for the top,



as for the skirt, I would say wear something white, or just manage it to go with your upper clothes. thats all. Enjoy
