What would go well with a flowery skirt?

I have a light pink skirt with blue flower print on it, kind of like this one-http://wetseal.com/productdetail.asp?mi=...

I was thinking about wearing a black tanktop and black ballet flats with it. What do you think?

That skirt is gorgeous! It looks so tropical %26amp; would go well on the shores of the bahamas! Ahh, but we can only dream...



I think the black tanktop would go lovely with it (black does go with everything!) try something different than ballet flat. Bronze sandals would go great with that outfit.

Too much black can make the whole outfit look daggy, especially with a colourful piece such as that.



When wearing black, it's best to have that ONE piece so to keep away from that 'Going to a funeral' look.

Reply:if that is black in the picture instead of brown, then a black shirt and flats would be cute! You could even wear a white shirt with black flats and that would be cute too.
Reply:try a light blue top[like the blue on the skirt] or a light green top[the green like the one on that skirt in the pic.], and no belt if there is a tie on the skirt's waist. also, try medium brown flats rather than black flats with that skirt. this would look amazing on a warm day. you could add some light accessories as well. like,tiny, light blue stud earings[if you try a light green top, the green on the skirt] or light green earings, like green on the skirt[if you try a light blue top].
Reply:I would stick to a solid colored tank, the black tank and ballet flats would be awesome. You could even try a blue or white tank or wear a white tank with a blue one over top to give it that layered look. Either way it's going to look adorable!
Reply:Beautiful Skirt. I personally wouldn't go for the black because the skirt is very summery. Try to find a nice blue or green tank top like the flowers in the skirt. If you can't find that, then try a white or a cream color tank paired with a big blue or green necklace

Reply:I don't think the shirt would match. The skirts sorta a summer type of clothing. so i would probably say like maybe a white or dark pink shirt and maybe white and pink flip flops. It would look cute!
