I live in the US Virgin Islands. We are wondering if anyone knows the name of a fly-like bug that has a blue body with red wings. It is about the size of a bee and flies around flowers. I last saw one on Water Island, USVI.
Does anyone know the name of a blue bodied, red winged fly/bug in the USVI/Caribbean?
