How would these pillows look with a blue denim color sofa?

I was thinking either these or I seen these cream color ones with a dark brown flower detail, walls will be cream or beige and curtains probaly cream or beige. Opinions on what will look best.Thank u

How would these pillows look with a blue denim color sofa?
I like the stripe pillow even though I don't see denim blue in them; however, like clothing, it just has to "go", it doesn't have to match. The reason I like these pillows is the other colors will allow you to add reds and browns and creams and gray into your room - in table lamps, vases, throws, rugs, books, etc... the pillow with the dark brown flower you mention just doesn't give you a lot of color to work from. You can also add other pillows in solids or even floral to go with the stripe pillows.
Reply:They don't appear to have the denim color in them, but don't let that stop you from getting them...as they say on "What Not to Wear" about clothes, not everything has to contain the same colors, as long as the colors go together, as I think they do in this case.

Also, if you try to get pillows that have the denim color in them, its going to have to be the EXACT shade of denim or else it will look strange because it doesn't quite match. Its easier to get colors that are different but a similar tone to the color they're going to go with.
Reply:I don't think that these have a denim blue stripe in them. Therefore, I would buy the cream colored pillows with the dark brown flower detail. If your walls will be cream or beige and your curtains cream or beige, is there something else in the room that is going to be denim blue like your sofa? Maybe some pictures or other accessories could bring more blue into the room.
Reply:Its hard to tell the colors from the picture, but if the blue stripe in the pillow is the right blue with denim, then I think they will look good. I would paint the walls the same cream color in the pillow.
