what colour make up should i wear on my wedding day. my dress is pale cream and has a blue ribbon and flowers on it
I have pale skin blue eyes and dark brunette hair?
everything listed below can be found at Sephora.
- I am like you pale skin , blue/gray eyes and dark brown hair...here is what I would recommend...
Step 1: benefit eye bright stick for inner and outer corners of your eyes
Step 2 : Benefit reverse eye liner , this helps your eye liner stay in place and not smudge around your eyes
Step 3 : Lancome Effacernes waterproof concealer, use to hide any blemishes, as well as under eyes and all around eyes, this will also serve as a good base for eyeshadow to help it stay in place.
Step 4: Nars oil free foundation in Monte Blanc, this color goes very well with pale skin, use a makeup sponge to appl y thinly
Step 5: Use a loose powder such as Lancomes, in either translucent or the lightest shade
Step 6: rim eyes in Bonnibell eyeliner in black ink ( find this one at wal-greens, meijer, or wal-mart) this is the best eyeliner I have found out there , better than even the expensive ones, rim the inner part of your eyes though
Step 7: Do a base light white eye shadow ( try clinique) then use a pale pink eyeshadow over top ( try MAC in gleam-find this at a mac store or online) go light though the more you add the darker it will get
Step 7: Use Dior Show mascara in Black on top and bottome lashes.
Step 8: Try Nars blush in either deep throat or orgasm
Step 8: use a brush to make eye brows look nice
Step 9: lipstick- I would say maybe a pale pink one try "style it up by mac-find this at a mac store or online) and use benefit reverse lip liner to keep it in place.
Ta Da A beautiful bride
p.s- also bobbi brown has a kit that has a bunch of stuff you might need makeup wise on your big day its called "bridal" at sephora
Good Luck!
Reply:Don't go too dark! Erm I'd say maybe a extremely light maybe even slightly white blue, as it will go with your hair, and also tie in with your dress :) But I suppose it depends on how blue your eyes are as well. Congratulations!
Reply:For my wedding I went to the Mac counter and they really helped me out. You are able to get the make up that is best for you, professional tips and the girls there were very very nice.
I always get compliments on the make up:)
Reply:a nice pale mauve eyeshadow and a pale foundation..plenty of dark mascara [not black]A smudged navy blue eyeliner...very little.Lipstick should be a warm color..not extreme red or extreme dark
Reply:How about a light brown in the centre then darker brown around the edge of your eyes? By the sounds of your colouring are you Irish? If not then you have the same coloring as the typical irish folk. (Parents are Irish) and it's a lovely combination so i think what ever color you use you will look lovely. Good luck with your wedding and the future
Reply:Dark blue eyeliner in a fine line about halfway across upper and lower lids to make your eyes bigger. You can use a pale pink, blue or gold shadow, but go really easy on mascara. You will cry and it will run. Carry your lipstick, eyeliner and shadow in a small purse that matches your dress so you can touch up. You will definitely need to.
Blush should be natural looking and lipstick should be a slightly darker shade, but similar color. For example, if your blush is pink, use a slightly darker lipstick in pink, if you use coral blush, use a slightly darker, not brighter, shade of coral.
Your foundation should blend well so you don't have to bring it down to the neckline on your gown as it will stain the dress and you don't want that. Try Cover girl Tru blend and use a shade that matches your skin tone as closely as possible.
Reply:Whatever you do, don't go with really dark colors. They wouldn't work with pale skin and a white dress. I agree that gold shadow would work best, or a shadow with gold flecks in it. However, I wouldn't do blue eyeliner or eyeshadow because it would compete with your eye color, instead of bringing it out. Brown looks really nice against blue eyes.
Reply:neutral colours and a light amount of smudged/smokey eyeliner..
you dont really want straight edges of make up if its ur wedding day,...can tend to come out looking a bit weird to say the least!
congratulations by the way! xx
Reply:purple eyeshadow, light pink cheeks, brown eyeliner, and mascara.
purple really brigns out blue
Reply:dont over do your eyes with too dark makeup and and dont use blue eyeshadow!!(yuckk)
Reply:You should use goldshadow, it will bring out your eyes. I'm also pale and I have blue eyes. =) Since you have blue ribbon and flowers, you should go for dark blue eyeliner. You're gonna look good! =)
Reply:i have the same colouring as you, and i work for m.a.c make up, so I'm my opinion, a gold palette would work best, try a neutral Perle colour from brow to lid, a bright gold on the eyelid, accented with a bronze eyeshadow as eyeliner, on the wedding day simple elegance is best.
Reply:um pearl grey or pearl peach/pink or cream shadow to match dress
Reply:cool and earthy tones make blue eyes "pop" (brings out the blue in your eyes)
Reply:Keep it natural, you wedding day is about you not the pound of makeup.... stick with creamier warmer colours like caramel and honey, they wont stand out too much but will give your eyes that pop... be sure to wear waterproof mascara as well... and keep some handy for after the ceremony in case of touchups.
Also be sure to put a slight highlight at the inside corner of your eye to open them up, avoid going too dark with eyeliners etc, people want to see how beautiful YOU are!
Top it all of with a blush that works with your skintone, most likely within the pink family
Reply:It's not your dress, or your hair that needs consideration when choosing make up. Usually it's complexion tones and eye color which need that attention. A pale neutral foundation in flesh tones is nice with pink or neutral blush. Pink or neutral lipstick with a shimmer would work with that. For the eyes, use a black-brown shade for eyeliner and mascara, since your skin is so light. For eyeshadow, pink, lavendar or pale silver should work, or even a neutral flesh tone, a shade or two darker than your foundation.
